Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your personal data from Kitten in Trouble. Last updated: September 07, 2025

Two ways to request deletion

  1. In‑app: Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account & Data and follow the prompts.
  2. Web: Use the form below to submit a verifiable deletion request without signing in.

Deleting your account permanently removes associated personal data, subject to limited retention required by law (e.g., fraud prevention, accounting records).

Web Data Deletion Request Form

After submitting, you will receive a confirmation code and a URL to check request status.

Facebook (Meta) data deletion callback

If you use Facebook Login, our server exposes a Data Deletion Callback URL for Meta. When Facebook calls it, we will delete associated data and return the required JSON with a status URL and confirmation code.

Response format:
{
  "url": "https://kittenintrouble.com/deletion-status?code=ABC123",
  "confirmation_code": "ABC123"
}

For developers: the callback must be HTTPS and configured in your Meta App Dashboard.

Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some backups may persist for up to 90 days, after which they are purged on rotation.

What gets deleted

  • Account profile, identifiers, and preferences.
  • Content you created (posts, comments, uploads) unless retained anonymously for safety or integrity.
  • Purchase/subscription metadata not required for tax/audit compliance.
  • Analytics identifiers tied to your account.

Payment records may be retained by payment processors as required by law.
